youth protection investigation

The youth work protection examination is prescribed by the legislature as a precautionary measure under the Youth Work Protection Act.

Young people (between the ages of 15 and 18) who start vocational training or work must be examined by a doctor 14 months before employment.

The youth protection examination includes a physical examination in addition to checking your eyesight (near and far vision, checking for color blindness), hearing, physique and the musculoskeletal system.

A blood test is not planned, but an examination of the urine is.

After the examination has been completed, the young person receives a certificate of the examination carried out for the parents and for the employer.

This certificate shows whether the young person is fully suitable for the intended job or whether there are certain restrictions.
